Spoiler: I Don't Think I'd Make a Good Mother

...because I absolutely cannot resist a kid who gives me the puppy-dog-eye look.

I was headed home one night (this happened several weeks ago), but I was feeling hungry, so I went to Galle and got me some Burger King fries and a Hi-C Apple drink. And I was munching happily as I was walking to the FX terminal. Omnomnom. Ha ha. Then when I got there and fell in line, this young street girl with big eyes, tanned skin, and brown hair came up to me just as I was reaching into the plastic bag for more fries and said, "Ate, pwedeng pahingi ng pagkain? (Can I have some food?)"

On Heartthrobs and Dream Girls: The Sucker-Punch Reality

"Truthfully, Robin's better than the girl of my dreams. She's real." --Paul (Matthew Gray Gubler), 500 Days of Summer
I watched two movies back to back before I started writing this. One was about a cheerleader turned cleaning lady starring Amy Adams and Emily Blunt, and the other was about a middle-aged couple who'd been divorced for more than a decade, cast wherein are my favorites, the charming Zoe Kazan (Happythankyoumoreplease) and the adorable and handsome John Krasinski (Something Borrowed), who is actually married to Emily Blunt in real life. (Yes, I keep up with my Hollywood news. *wink*)

Faith or Fame: Of Which Hall are You? (Part II)

Almost a year ago, I started an article about Katy Perry (read it here--yes, I changed the title). She did a show Sunday night at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum as part of her world tour. Impeccable timing, I suppose, to write the Part 2, which I almost forgot to do. Ha ha.
